USAG Academic All - American Award
The 2011 USAG Academic All - America Award is open to male gymnast who is 9th - 12th grade, who has what is equivalent to an annual GPA of 3.5. All requirements and deadline for this award can be found by clicking on the link below or at the bottom of the page. USAG Academic All-American Award Please note that the early bird deadline for all required documentation and fees is MARCH 15, 2011. The standard deadline is APRIL 1, 2011. |

Please take a moment to read about the 2011 Graduating NC Senior Athletes. These are fine and outstanding young men as well as gymnast. They will be sadly missed next year, and we wish them great success as they finish out their senior year and move on to the next phase of their life.

2010 Qualifying
Information for the Region 8 Championships
There will NOT be a qualifying score
this year for the 2010 Region 8 Championships. The Region VIII Board
decided to use an allotment system for qualifying to the Region VIII
Championship.
Please click on the document below for information regarding the allotment
system, general meet information, and state team information for this year's

CONGRATULATIONS
TO CAMERON ROGERS and STASS SAVITCH We would like to congratulate Cameron Rogers for his outstanding performance at the 2009 Visa Championships this past week in Dallas, TX. Cameron was the All-Around Champion during the Junior competition on Wednesday earning a spot on the 16-18 Junior National Team. Along with being the All-Around Champion he took 1st place on Still Rings and Parallel Bars, and tied for 2nd on Floor. Congratulations to Stass Savitch for his great
coaching and helping prepare Cameron for this meet. In addition,
what a way to start the beginning of Zenith Gymnastics in Charlotte. Here are links to the results as well as an article

Congratulations to Sam Kusnitz (Flip Force Gymnastics) for being named as one of the 24 members of the USA Gymnastics Delegation to compete at the 18th Maccabiah Games to be held July 13 - 23, 2009 in Israel. The 18th World Maccabiah Games will be the world’s third largest international athletic competition, with more than 9,000 of the world’s best Jewish athletes from six continents and more than 60 countries. The Maccabiah Games are a quadrennial Jewish Olympics held in Israel the year following the Olympic Games. The Games are organized by an International Maccabiah Committee and are sanctioned by the International Olympic Committee and World Federation of Sports. |
